Play Style

A physical, athletic tackle whose best traits come from his size-speed profile and defensive background. He can get out of his stance, reach landmarks on zone and perimeter runs, and move bodies once his hands land, which fits a tempo, spread-to-run offense. As a pass protector he wins with length and athleticism more than refined technique right now. Expect some inconsistency with pad level and set depth, typical for a recent position convert.

Strengths

• Length and frame: at 6-5 to 6-7, he has natural reach to cover edge rushers in pass protection and the frame to add weight without losing movement skills.
• Verified explosive athlete: a state discus title (139-5) shows real hip explosion and coordinated power, the same traits behind a strong punch and drive-blocking pop.
• Defensive-line background: he began high school on the DL, so he understands how rushers set up moves and uses his hands with an aggressive mindset, which can speed up his pass-pro processing.
• Recruiting pedigree: offers from Auburn, Florida, LSU, Miami, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M and Mississippi State, plus a hard-fought in-state battle among LSU, MSU and Ole Miss, show SEC staffs rated his ceiling highly.

Areas to Improve

• Technique at the position: with only about two seasons on the offensive line, his pass-set consistency, hand placement and timing, and ability to recover against counter moves need to be built through reps. SEC edge rushers will expose false steps and overextension right away.
• Mass and functional strength: he needs to get from roughly 285-290 to 305-315 through a college strength program while keeping his foot quickness, and to develop the lower-body anchor to handle bull rushes and hold up on double teams in the run game.
• Competition jump: coming from Class 4A Mississippi, he rarely faced SEC-caliber length and power every snap, so he'll need time to adjust to the speed and strength of practice reps against college defensive linemen.

College Projection

A developmental tackle and likely redshirt candidate in 2026, with most of the first year going to strength and conditioning and technical rebuilding (I couldn't verify his 2026 Ole Miss depth chart or snap counts). A reasonable timeline is to compete for a two-deep role in 2027 and push for a starting tackle job in 2027-2028 if the weight gain and technique come along. With transfer-portal veterans often filling the Rebels' line, his path to the field depends on his development, but his tools project to a multi-year starter at left or right tackle. He also has fallback flexibility inside at guard if his length plays better there.

NFL Outlook

As a four-star tackle with elite length and verified explosiveness, he has a legitimate draft-caliber physical profile, but his outlook depends almost entirely on development. If he reaches about 310 with his movement skills intact and becomes a multi-year SEC starting tackle, he fits the athletic-tackle mold NFL teams draft on traits (Day 2-3 range, higher with dominant tape). The main risks are a short OL track record and whether his frame carries NFL-level mass. He should be viewed as a high-upside, longer-horizon prospect rather than a near-certain pro.

Best Fit

A program with a strong strength-and-conditioning staff and a patient OL development plan, running a tempo, zone-heavy, spread-to-run system that rewards athletic tackles who can reach and climb. Ole Miss's up-tempo offense fits him well, as long as the staff gives him development time rather than rushing him into the lineup ahead of portal veterans.
