Scouting Report
Kennedee Jackson is a 4-star Offensive Tackle from Lithonia, GA (Lithonia High School) in the 2027 class. Ranked No. 86 nationally, No. 14 at OT. Composite rating: 0.9636. Committed to University of Georgia.
Physical Profile
Listed at 6-6, 300 lbs. Taller than 46% and heavier than 70% of 2027 Offensive Tackle prospects in the SEC Scouts database (37 with a listed size).
Play Style
Jackson projects as an athletic, movement-oriented tackle rather than a mauler. His best reported traits are foot quickness and agility in pass protection, plus the ability to get out of his stance to pull or climb to linebackers in the run game. That profile fits a player who wins with positioning and range first and is still learning to add finish and violence at the point of attack. Because he's raw, he probably wins with athleticism more than technique on current tape. Detailed play-by-play film breakdowns and statistics (pancakes, sacks allowed) were not publicly available when this was written.
Strengths
- Prototype blind-side frame: 6-6/300 as a junior-to-senior, with the length and base SEC staffs want at left tackle and no need to add mass before he can compete
- Feet and agility for his size. Evaluators single out his footwork as the trait that makes him a potential left tackle rather than a right tackle or guard
- Mobility in the run game: 247Sports notes he can pull and climb to the second level, which suits gap/power concepts and reaching linebackers in zone schemes
- Steep upward trajectory: he went from zero offers (Dec. 2025) to 20+ offers and official visits with Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, LSU and North Carolina within months of transferring to Lithonia in January 2026. That suggests rapid development and a high ceiling rather than a finished, capped product
Areas to Improve
- Technical refinement. Evaluators call him 'raw.' Expect work on hand placement and timing, pad level, and consistency of his kick-slide against speed-to-power rushers, all of which SEC edge defenders will test right away
- Limited body of high-level film. He has had only a short time as a featured, heavily scouted prospect after the transfer, so his senior season at Lithonia is his first full year of evaluation against top Georgia competition. Anchor strength against bull rushes and finishing blocks consistently are still open questions
- Strength and conditioning: redistributing mass and building lower-body and core strength to hold up against college power, rather than adding weight
College Projection
At Georgia, Jackson likely follows the program's usual path for high-upside tackles: early enrollment or summer arrival, a developmental 2027 season spent mostly on scout team and in the strength program, and a redshirt is likely. He would then compete for a rotational or swing-tackle role in 2028 and start at tackle in 2029 or later. Evaluators project a multi-year SEC starter at left tackle. How fast he gets there depends mostly on technical growth under the Georgia offensive line staff, since his size already meets the standard. The comparison to Broderick Jones, another Lithonia product who became a first-round tackle after developing at UGA, is the obvious template.
NFL Outlook
As a four-star, top-100 tackle with a left-tackle frame and feet, Jackson has legitimate NFL Draft potential if the technique develops. Tackles with his size-agility combination who become multi-year SEC starters are routinely drafted on Day 1 or Day 2. Current projection is a mid-round-or-better draft candidate, with a Day 1 ceiling if he locks down Georgia's blind side for two or more seasons. The main risks are how raw he is and the short evaluation history. Upside is high, but the range of outcomes is wider than for a more polished tackle recruit.
Best Fit
A program with a proven offensive line development track record and the depth to let him redshirt without being rushed. Georgia fits that well. Schematically he is best in an offense that asks tackles to move: wide-zone, pin-and-pull, and gap/power concepts with pulling tackles use his range and second-level ability. His feet and length also suit a pro-style dropback pass game where he can be left on an island on the blind side once his technique matures.
