Samuels boasts an excellent physical profile for a collegiate wing, standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing a solid 200 pounds. His most notable physical attribute is a reported 6-foot-11 wingspan, which gives him significant length to shoot over defenders, disrupt passing lanes, and rebound effectively for his position. While not described as a dynamic, explosive athlete, he is naturally strong and uses his body well to create space and finish through contact at the rim.

Play Style

On film, Samuels is the consummate offensive-minded wing. He is constantly looking to score and does so with a confident and aggressive demeanor. He is particularly effective operating off of ball screens, where he can utilize his potent pull-up game or get downhill to challenge defenders at the rim. As a lefty, he presents a different look for defenders and is adept at creating space with his handle to get to his spots. His offensive prowess was on full display at the NBPA Top 100 Camp, where he led the event in both scoring and rebounding, averaging 26.0 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.
