(02/26/2026) — The South Carolina Gamecocks left no doubt, securing their fifth consecutive Southeastern Conference regular-season championship with a commanding 112-71 victory over the Missouri Tigers at Colonial Life Arena. Before a crowd of 15,526, the Gamecocks showcased their offensive firepower and defensive prowess, overwhelming the Tigers from the opening tip.
From the outset, South Carolina established its dominance, racing to a 33-13 lead by the end of the first quarter. The Gamecocks’ potent offense, which shot 52% from the field for the game, was on full display. Missouri struggled to keep pace, facing a relentless South Carolina team that controlled every facet of the game.
The turning point came early, as South Carolina's stifling defense and efficient scoring created a significant deficit that Missouri could not overcome. The Gamecocks' control of the boards was a major factor, as they outrebounded the Tigers 49-30.
